BLOG UPDATE April. 20, 2011
Another busy month behind me! Paul and I at MAFA have recorded, mixed and mastered another 8 songs from several different artists, not to mention some pretty drastic upgrades to the studio itself. New songs available for download at www.musicartfilm.net.
In other news I performed at the North Texas Irish Festival this year with Poor Man’s Fortune, which was a blast as always. I’m really looking forward to performing with them again soon.
My newest adventure occurred just this last week when I played violin for a local Denton singer/songwriter, Richard Gilbert, on his first full-album release. Gilbert and I are very pleased with this already completed album. Stay tuned for a link on my Store page for more details on where you can purchase it.
And, in addition to all of this, I’m working hard at finishing my second album, still on track to be released during this summer. I’m very excited about this, as there is going to be plenty of surprises in store for you, the listeners. So please, keep up the support of me and my escapades, and soon I’ll have a new CD, just…for…you!

BLOG UPDATE Feb. 16, 2011
What a busy couple of weeks this has been! My part-time position as assistant audio-engineer and producer at MusicArtFilm has become full-time, and Paul Bennett and I have been brainstorming on the future of the studio and gearing up for the official launch of MAFA as part multimedia/recording studio and part record label.
In other news, this weekend I begin rehearsing with Poor Man’s Fortune as a fiddle player. This is very exciting and if all goes as planned you’ll be seeing me at folk, arts, and music festivals year round in addition to my solo shows in the DFW area (event updates on the CALENDAR page).
And as if this wasn’t enough to keep me busy, it was just confirmed that I am writing a film score for an indie project due to debut in Louisiana at an indie film festival. More details on when, where and how to see it soon.
I appreciate everyone who’s been patient and kept up with my modest, but growing tour schedule. Thank you!
